Another wonderful weekend with Ma'tee and Papa John

Well this weekend we finally got down to Georgia to see Grace's other grandparents, Ma'tee and Papa John. We had a wonderful time. Especially Grace. Just like usual, she was a pleasure to be around the whole time. She is such a good girl. Grace was so happy to see Ma'tee and had a great time with Papa John. She would smile everytime Ma'tee pulled out the camera and Papa knew just how to make her giggle.

Mommy had Thursday and Friday off for spring break and I took those days off, so we had an extended weekend which was just lovely. Thursday we woke up and drove down to Georgia. Grace did a great job. I know I say it all the time, but she is really just the best baby. Probably in the whole world :) She slept most of the ride, but when she was awake she just played and looked around. So besides the ride being long it was very enjoyable. Mommy did a great job too. She packed us lunch and played 20 Questions with me. :) I like games.

Anyway, we got to Tifton, GA, around 5:30. (side note: Ma'tee and Papa John have a beautiful home) Then from Friday to Sunday morning we just took it easy, drove around Tifton, ate good food, and enjoyed our time with the grandparents.

Sunday morning we got back on the road to go home. We didn't want to leave, but we had to get back to work. Grace did a great job on the ride back too. She really, really, really is the best baby. :)

Grace, Mommy, and I would like to thank Ma'tee and Papa John for their hospitality. They were great to us. They feed us really well and really showed us a good time. I know Grace (Mommy and me too) can't wait to come back and see Ma'tee and Papa again. Hopefully sooner than later.

A wonderful weekend with Me'me' and Pe'pe'

This weekend we took Grace to my parents. Grace had a very good time. She was such a good girl. She is always a good girl when we take her places. And I mean when we take her anywhere. From doctor visits to family visits, she has been a good girl every time. Anyway, she really enjoyed seeing her Me'me' and Pe'pe'. She was all smiles. Of course, that isn't out of the ordinary.

Me'me' got a walker out and we let Grace play in it. She can't reach the floor yet, but she is getting real close. In a couple of months she'll be scooting all over the place :) On a side note, Me'me' and Pe'pe' gave Mom and Dad a bunch of goodies to take home. This will definitely help on the grocery bill for this month :) Thanks Me'me' and Pe'pe'.

We have another exciting trip planned this weekend. We are going to see Grace's other grandparents: Matee and Papa John. This will be a very exciting trip for everyone, because this is Mom and Dad's first trip to their new home. This will also be Grace's longest trip yet. So hopefully the ride will go well. We are all looking forward to it, and I'm sure Grace will have a lot of fun. The weather is supposed to be good, so that will be especially nice.

Anyway, I will update you next week on how the trip was.

A thank you to Mom, from Dad

I am glad everyone has checked out Grace's blog. I think it is wonderful as well, and I know Grace will appreciate it. :) What I wanted to do was thank Grace's beautiful Mom for setting it up, and for everything else she has done. I'm sad to admit this blog was not my idea, but what a wonderful idea it was, and it came from Mom. This is not the only special thing she has done. Let me talk about something else first. One of the greatest memories of my own childhood was looking at my baby book and baby pictures. I have my own mother to thank for this. What a wonderful thing to be able to look back on times you cannot remember. Grace will be able to share in this joyful experience because of her mother. I have taken some pictures, and shared a whole bunch of good times with Grace. However, her mother has done so well in capturing the moment for Grace. She has set up a plan to have monthly photo albums of Grace throughout the first year. We already have the first four months done. She is making Graces baby book. I don't mean she went out and bought a baby book and puts stuff in it. I mean she is actually making a baby book for Grace. She also takes many more pictures than I do, and of course, she has set up this blog. So thank you so much, Jessica Anne Peppel. You are a wonderful woman and a wonderful mother. Grace and I are lucky to have you, and we love you. I am positive Grace will love looking back at her baby book, the pictures we have taken, and this blog.

It is easy to take care of Grace

When my tummy is full. This past weekend Kevin so graciously made me breakfast. I can't wait for Grace to be able to partake in the wonderful breakfast making of her dada.

Dad is so proud of his little girl :)

So as I told you yesterday, Grace rolled all the way over for the first time while she was at day care yesterday. I was disappointed that I missed it, but she did it for me when I got home. It may not seem like a big deal to some, but that is her first step towards crawling and walking and I loved it. I also loved the fact that she seemed so proud of herself for doing it. She should. I think it is great and I cannot wait till it becomes an every day thing and she starts making her way to the next big step. Anyway, I think we all ought to give three cheers for Grace and her accomplishment.

We love you Grace. You big girl :)

Dad's first entry

Hi everyone. So I'm hear to talk about my beautiful baby, Grace Anne-Marie Robinson. Well first of all, I heard Grace rolled all the way over for the first time today. :) I wish I had been there. :( It is okay, but it would have been nice to see. Mommy (Jessica) and I have been working with her a lot. She has got really close so many times, but it just has never happened. Anyway, hopefully she will do it for me tonight.

So I also I want to just talk about how life has been since Grace's arrival. It has truly been a blessing. We take care of her of course, but she is also taking care of me. Since she came into our lives, I have really grown up a lot. I'm so thankful for all the changes she has made in me. The main one is just that I want to be a better person. She has saved me and I want to repay her for that. I will do that by being the best father I can be, giving her the best life possible and teaching her how to grow into a strong, intelligent, loving, caring, and beautiful woman. Of course, her mom is going to help me with a lot of that. :)

Grace has brought so much joy to my life. She is by far the best baby in the world. I'm bias of course, but you would be to if it was your baby. :) Of course, there have been hard times. Times when I wanted to lose my mind. But all of it has been a wonderful experience. For every night Grace kept us up crying and being cranky, there have been twice as many nights if not more where she has touched our hearts with her smile, her touch, her laugh, and her love. She is so happy. I don't know when I have looked at her and not seen a smile. And she has the biggest grin. I love it. It is just like yours truly. :)

Okay, I'll write again soon. I hope you are all lucky enough to have a child that is as happy and as beautiful as mine. Thanks for reading.
