Hello all. :) It has been quite sometime since my last post. I apologize, but to make up for it I have plenty of updates :) I think I mentioned Grace was starting dance class. Well, it has been going okay. Grace's mom and I have discussed it and we are going to finish this season of dance, and then let Grace make the decision if she would like to continue. I think she likes it, but she may be a little intimidated being as young as she is. However, she does seem to be learning some and that is great!!!! I asked and she said she would like to try soccer next. So our tiny dancer may not be on her way, but our future soccer star may be :) Really Grace's mom and I just want to open as many doors as possible for Grace and let her make the decision to walk through. I will keep you all posted on how it is going.
Let's see... what else... so much has happened it is difficult to keep up with. Grace had her fourth birthday on October 22nd. :) The big gift this year was... wait for it... EARRINGS!!!!!!!!!!!! Our little Gracie is turning into a little lady. :) She did a great job too. Her mom and I didn't give Grace the impression that it could be painful, so Grace sat down, the person pierced her ears, and that was that. Grace didn't make a peep. She just grinned real big. We were so happy for her. She looks really good too. :) We also put a party on for her at Chick-fila. I didn't even know they did that. Anyway, it was actually a lot of fun!!!! Grace had a bunch of guest and they all had a ball!!! I took plenty of pictures which I will share soon.
Oh yeah, over Labor Day I took Grace down to our lake house in TN. Grace had a blast!!! Fishing off the dock with her Papaw, going for rides on the boat, playing with her cousins, eating good food, and so much more. Grace got to meet her Daddy's brother Lee. She warmed up to her Uncle Lee immediately. We pulled up and she came to him with open arms. :) Of course, Uncle Lee looks almost identical to Grace's Pe'pe', so that may have had something to do with it. Regardless though, it all worked out ;) Oh, and Grace did such a good job on the car ride. It is pretty long trip, especially for a three year-old (she was three when we went on the trip), but she handled it just fine and actually had a lot of fun in the car with her cousins.
Grace's other cousins on her mom's side, and her uncle and aunt have moved to Rock Hill. Grace has really enjoyed that. She loves her Aunt Katy bunches and has a lot of fun with the boys. So that has been nice.
Anyway, I have pictures of everything I have mentioned, and I will post them soon. Grace, life is really just flying by!!! You are growing up so well, and learning so much. It is really exciting!!!!! Your mom and I are so proud of you!!! We love you so much. xoxoxoxoxo

the tiny dancer is on her way :-)
Hello all, Grace is doing great and having a wonderful summer!!! Since her ear healed from her surgery she is has been pooling it up quiet a bit. And she is doing great in the water!!! Grace doesn't wear swimmies. She likes her tube. And she is so brave!!! Jumping in the water and having a great time.
This last weekend we did something really fun, besides all the time we spent at the pool. Grace attended her first dance class!!!! :-) It was so much fun to watch her. I was grinning ear to ear the entire time. :-) Grace really enjoyed it. Afterwards we went and got her nails done. Grace got purple, green, and pink. They looked great!!!! We went to the pool later and Grace got a bunch of compliments on her nails. Of course, the water started to make the paint peel. Sorry baby, Daddy will know better next time. ;-) But for a while Grace's nails looked great. :-)
Oh, and the night before I took the most beautiful girl in the world on a date. :-) Grace told me Friday morning she wanted to go to a restaraunt. I figured we'd end up at a fast food place with a playground. That evening when I picked her up and asked if she wanted to go to McDonalds Grace said, "no daddy, I want to go to a restaraunt!!!" So we went to Olive Garden. Grace grubbed down on some salad and breadsticks. She also had spaghetti, but she tore that salad up. :-) We had a great time!!!!
Needless to say, we had a full weekend of fun. Lots of girlie stuff, but Dad loved every minute of it!!!! Grace, you are doing great!!! You are getting so big and learning something new everyday it seems like. So exciting!!!! Your Mommy and I love you so much. We are here for you always. Love you baby, Daddy

GRACE TIME!!!!!!!
Hello all, I haven't posted in a while, so I wanted to share some Grace time with you. ;) Anyway, Grace is doing well. She had surgery on her ear a while back, but recently went for a check up and the doctor said Grace has healed up and concerning her ears, everything should be fine. So that is wonderful news!!!! What is even better about that news is that Grace can get into the pool!!!!! Finally!!! She has been a real trooper about not being able to swim so far this summer. So props to Grace!!!! Grace didn't complain once while she couldn't swim. Grace and I went to my parent's lake house in TN over memorial day. Her cousins came too. We all went out on the boat a couple time and her cousins went swimming in the lake. Grace just sat on the boat having fun watching them swim. You are a great girl, Grace!!!! Love you baby doll. But mom and I are both excited for her to be able to go swimming. Perfect timing too, cause it has been hot lately.
Grace was allowed to run through sprinklers though. When she had her cap on. I'll let you all enjoy the pics on that. She looks great in the cap, doesn't she? :-)
On mom's last post she talked about and shared some pictures of Grace making cupcakes. I thought that was such a great idea I decided to do that with Grace also. I took some pictures too. You can enjoy that as well.
We recently went to Me'me' and Pe'pe's. Grace had a ball seeing everybody. Even her Uncle Corey. :-)

Chilaxing Day!
Grace and I had an awesome time this past Sunday. We started the day off with baking cookies from her fairy cookie book that her Aunt Katy got her. Grace loves to read this book at night, and we go through each recipe and I call out the ingredients and she said "Yep, we have that!", or "We need to buy that!". She reminds me so much of her Aunt Katy. I mean, who else likes to leisurely read cookbooks??? Okay, probably shouldn't have asked that question..... Here is a picture of the book:
And here are the fairy cupcakes that Grace made! She measured all the ingredients, stirred everything up, put them in the baking cups. She also made the icing from scratch as well, and put the icing and sprinkles on the cupcakes all by herself! Here is a picture of the result:
We have already eaten the cupcakes and the were delectable!
We also went to a few stores to look for a swim cap so that Grace can run through the sprinklers at daycare. The reason that she needs the swim cap is because she is still healing from her ear surgery. We finally found a pretty pink cap and she wanted to put it on right away:

Isn't she the cutest child ever??? YES!!!!
Ohhh, and you say you like her outfit??? Well, her very talented and beautiful mother made that for her! I made her pose for a few:
Basically, the whole day we just spent hanging out just the two of us and it was the best day I have had in a long time. I cannot wait to spend many, many more days like this one!
Here are a few more pictures of our day:

Grace is my heart
Hello all, hope everyone is well. Just a real quick story today. Last night Grace and I were reading stories and getting ready to go to sleep. As I was about to turn the light off Grace said to me, "Dad, I love you so much, you are the best dad in the world." Oh, my heart dropped. I love that girl more than anything in this world!! Grace, you are the light of my life. Without you I am lost. No matter what happens I will be here for you. I know your mother feels the same way. We are both on the Grace Anne-Marie Robinson Team!!!! And always will be!!!! We have got your back, sweetheart. You are growing and learning so much, and getting so big. I have said it before, but it is so exciting. I'm so happy to be your daddy, and be a part of your life. Thank you. I also thank God for you. He blessed your mother and I with you. We are more than we ever would have been because of you. Love you, Grace.

Gracie Girl
Hello all, it has been a while. Glad to be back writing more about the amazing Grace!!!!! :-) All is wonderful on the Grace front!!! She is growing and learning so much. Every day there is something new.
This past weekend Grace and I went and got her nails done. :-) She chose to have them painted pink. She is all girl. I think I may be in trouble. :-) No, but I am going to have my hands full. Getting the nails done was a lot of fun. Grace was a very good girl while they were being painted and drying. After that we went over to a playground in the local mall. Grace saw some girls she goes to daycare with, and they all had a lot of fun. When we were leaving we saw one of those photo booths, so Grace and I took some pics. I'll try to get the photos uploaded cause they are really cute. :-) After the mall we went home, had lunch, and played. Grace had a full day and it was a lot of fun.
A few weeks ago I took Grace to a friend’s birthday party. I really enjoyed being there. When I drop Grace off at daycare or pick her up I don't really get to see her interact with her friends. At the party I got to sit back and observe her and her friends. It was really cute. At one point they were playing hide and seek. Grace was seeking. She counted and then went searching for her friends. Oh yeah, there were about 4 children hiding (all in the same place) and they weren’t really hidden at all. I found that really amusing. So Grace started searching and saw them and they saw her. At this point they all started running around and laughing hysterically. When I saw this I almost started laughing hysterically. :) It was really cute. The party also had pony rides. Grace just loved that. I may have to buy a pony soon.
This morning was a big morning. Grace went to the dentist recently and found out she had a cavity. :( So this morning she got it filled. Grace was such a good patient. She listened to the dentist and didn’t move around a bunch. I think she may have been a little scared, but she did so good. I was a little worried beforehand, because I thought they were going to give Grace laughing gas to calm her, and I wasn’t sure how she would react. But Grace didn’t need anything. She sat back and let the dentist do her work.
Grace, you are doing so well, and your Mom and I are so happy. You bless our lives everyday. We will always be here for you. You can count on that. Good, bad, happy or sad, your Mom and I will always love you. Always remember that.

Weekend at Me'me's
Grace spent this last weekend at her Me'me's house with her cousins, Arianna and Landon. She had a ball!!!!! Well, let me back up. Friday I took the day off to take Grace to a couple doctor appointments. She had to get her ears checked by the ENT doc and she had her three-year check up. The ENT check up went okay. One of Grace's ears still has a hole in it from the tube. So Mom and I are somewhat concerned about that. The doctor basically said all we can do right now is play it by ear, no pun intended. Hopefully it will heal up and Grace will be good to go. If not, then we will have to cross that bridge when it comes. I am happy to say the three-year check up went well. Grace got a few shots, but she took'em like a champ. Grace, don't worry, there will be no more shots until the four-year check up.
Anyway, after the appointments Grace and I drove down to Spartanburg to see Me'me' and Pe'pe'. That evening Me'me' took Grace, and went and picked up Arianna and Landon. Everyone had a good evening, and Arianna even helped me put Grace to bed. The next day was a lot of fun. The weather was decent, so the kids, including the neighbor Taylor, and I could play outside. Well Grace didn't stop the whole day. Whether we were playing hide and seek, tag, or just taking a walk she was on the move. That night after supper Grace, Landon, and Taylor sat down to watch a movie. Grace made it about half way through then it was lights out. :)
Sunday we hung out for a good part of the day. It was pretty chill. The kids played upstairs. I went up to check on them at one point. It was Grace, Arianna, and Taylor. I walked up and asked how everything was going. The only one that even remotely acknowledged me was the one I have no relation to at all. :) Grace and Arianna just kept playing. Taylor said were fine and that was it. I found that amusing. :)
So after all that we came home and Grace was happy to see her Mommy. Unfortunately, I did not get any pics, but I'm sure Mom will post some updated photos sooner than later.
Grace, Daddy and Mommy love you very much. You are a wonderful little girl, and you are growing up so well. What are you, but Mommy's and my reflection. We will always be here for you completely. Never forget that. You have blessed our lives, and we will do whatever we have to bless your life. Love you forever.

The BIG 3!!!!
That's right, folks. 3!!!!!!!! Grace turned 3 years old today. Can you believe it? I can't. Time flies I guess. 3 now, then I'll turn around and she will be turning 30. Well the first 3 years have been wonderful and I cannot wait to see how the years to come turn out. :-)
Anyway, here is what we did today. First off, Grace seemed to have a blast, and Mom and I both feel it was a good birthday. Last year we did the big party and that turned out to be pretty stressful, so this year we took Grace out to a festival and pretty much just made sure she had a really good day.
We got out around 10:30 Saturday morning. We took Grace to the fall festival up the road. It was really nice. Grace took a horsey ride, which she seemed to love. We all took a wagon ride to a pumpkin patch and picked out some pumpkins. Grace was really cute there. They told us they would take us to the patch and we would have about 10 minutes. Then we would head back. Well we got out there and Grace looked at almost every pumpkin (there were a lot of them :-)) and when we were walking out of the patch (we were the last to leave the patch) Grace just took her time. It was no big deal, but I found it funny. Oh yeah, we also went through a corn maze. I think I was more excited to do this than Grace was :-) Anyway, we got in the maze and Grace was having fun for a minute. Of course, after the minute she was over it, but by this time we were kind of lost in the maze. So Mom and I were trying to figure the map out when Grace said, "this is the way out", and she just walked through the corn to the outside of the field. Grace isn't a dummy. Her way might not have been the path of least resistance, but we got out.
Anyway, after the festival we took Grace out to lunch for pizza. She enjoyed that, but then we went home to eat cake and open presents. Now she really enjoyed that. We sang her the birthday song and she blew her candles out. Mom took a video on her phone of Grace blowing out the candles. I believe she is going to post it on here. You will enjoy. :-) Then we opened gifts. Talk about Play-Dough central. That girl now has enough play-dough to last the rest of this year and all of next. Of course, it is probably on going to last a few months. :-) She got tools to go with the play-dough too. So she had a lot of fun playing with that. She got a ton of stickers too. You wouldn't imagine that stickers are that fun, but Grace has a ball with them. Grace also got a hair stylist set. So now she can do Mommy's hair. I asked her to do my hair to but per Grace, I'm not like her and Mommy. I guess I don't have enough hair to be worth styling. :-)
So after the fun, the cake, and the presents Grace was tuckered out and just wanted to chill. And that was Saturday. Then on Sunday her Me'me', Pe'pe', and Uncle Corey came for a visit. Me'me' brought her cupcakes and some gifts. Grace had a lot of fun. I think her birthday turned out to be a pretty good one.
Grace, you are now three years old. You are turning into a big girl. You have learned and grown so much over these years. Mommy and I have enjoyed every second of it. We cannot wait to see what the future has in store for you. We both love you so much and always will. You keep being the good girl that you are, and we will keep being there for you. Always and forever. We love you, Grace.

Grace Update
Hello all!!! Wow, it has been quite some time since my last post. Sorry about that. Life gets real busy sometime. Anyway, I'm on here, so I'll go ahead and get straight to the point of this blog: GRACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-) She is doing just great. She has grown so much and just as cute as can be!!! And she is just as smart as a whip!!! I tell you, Grace is something else.
Boy, I don't really know where to begin. Well, I think I have mentioned her hair in probably my last 10 post, so I'll start there. As you can probably imagine Grace's hair is even longer than is was the last time I mentioned it. The back of her hair has a few strands of those original baby curls. Mom and I just think they are adorable and are so scared they will not come back if we cut her hair, so we are not cutting it. Besides her bangs at least. Gracie has got to show off them beautiful eyes. :-)
Grace is getting taller too. Mom and I were looking at her one day and we both said have Grace's legs gotten longer. It is hard to believe. We look at baby pics of Grace, and we are just amazed at far she has come. Of course, give it a couple more years and we'll probably be even more blown away. I'm looking forward to it!!!
And Grace is so much like her Mommy, and at the sametime so much like her Daddy. Early on she was like me and was so happy in the mornings. Now these days once she is awake she is ready to go, but until then she is just like her Mommy and doesn't want to get up. It is really cute though. Grace will pull the covers over her head or bury her face in the pillow. :-) Mom and I will just sit there and watch her sleeping some mornings. :-) This morning Grace was real cute. This doesn't really have to do with her not wanting to get up, but when I went up stairs to wake her she was giggling and smiling in her sleep. It must have been a really good one too. I can only imagine: exploring with Dora and Boots, or swimming with Spongy B (the nick name I gave Sponge Bob Square Pants) and Patrick. Whatever it was, Grace was enjoying it. Then mean old Dad had to wake her up. I'm pretty nice about it though. I turn on the TV and put on one of Grace's shows, and let that wake her.
Now Grace is doing a lot of things she didn't use to do, so let me go down the list. :-) First off, Grace brushes her teeth these day, and she uses the big girl flouride toothpaste. She also has been sleeping in her own big girl bad recently. Now I cannot tell a lie, so she has been sleeping with Mommy and Daddy the past couple nights, but for a while there she was using her big girl bed every night. Oh my goodness!!! I haven't mentioned the biggest news of all. GRACE WHERES BIG GIRL PANTIES NOW!!!! Now I hope you all realize how big this news is. Not only our Mom and Dad super psyched because no more diaper bills, but also cause we get to look that cute little behind of Grace's. And let me just tell you, it is really cute in those panties. :-)
Okay, I still have a lot I want to say, but work is getting pretty busy. So I guess I will get back to that :-) Anyway, stay tuned. I hope to be back real soon with a lot more exciting news about the star of this blog: Grace!!!! :-) Thanks for reading.

Cute Story
5-25-2011
Okay, I want to share a cute story. This morning on the way to day care Grace and I were playing a game. She was using her imagination and pretending an animal was chasing us. We went through a cow, horse, chicken, and a cat. Then I decided to switch it up and see what Grace would say when I said Mommy. Well, Grace said "Rowr" for what Mommy was saying. Then I said what does Grace say, and Grace said, "Rowr." Finally I said what does Daddy say. Grace said, "Meow." :-) So apparently Grace thinks Mommy and her are like lions or bears, all scary and fierce. And she thinks of Daddy like a soft, sweet, feeble kitten. :-) I guess I like the sweet, but the soft and feeble I'm not so sure. :-p Well, what can I say, I'm happy to be a big sweet, softy, and I am also happy Grace thinks of me like that. Of course, if that is the case I guess Grace thinks of Mommy like a scary dragon. :-) Just joking Mom. :-)
So that is the cute story. Just for a quick update on Grace: well, our little angel is doing great. Still learning and growing so much. Mom and I both think she has hit a growth spirt recently, because she is looking taller. Grace's hair is still beautiful and even longer since last time I mentioned it. :-) She still uses her imagination a lot. I guess you can see that from the story I told at the beginning. I really like that. It shows her creativity and that is a great thing. Another note on the creativity is that Grace loves art. She is all the time coloring or painting things. She does a really good circle and does a heart too. I know that doesn't sound like much, but considering she is only 2 1/2 I think it is pretty good. Grace can also say her full ABC's and she can count to thirteen or fourteen depending on the occasion. :-) ***EDIT from MOM***** She also knows all her colors and all her shapes!!! But it at least shows she is on her way. So other than that she is doing great.
That a girl Grace. You are doing great. You have learned so much in the past two and half years. Keep it up!!!! You can do it. And you know what, Mommy and I will always be here to help you along the way. If you ever need anything we both want you to come to us. Love you Grace Lou. :-)

Fun Grace Weekend
Grace chilling on the front porch
Mom took these pics, so I don't know what Grace was upset about. But that is quite a face isn't it? :-)
I love this pic and I'm so glad you all get to see it, because it is a perfect example of how beautiful Grace's hair is.
