Hey Guys, sorry it has been so long since we have updated the blog and put pictures up here. We are doing great, and we DO take lots of pictures!!! So here are some of them!

Hello all. Sorry it has been a minute since my last post. We have been busy with the new house. :-) Before I go any further I would just like to say Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there. Thank you for everything.
Okay, well Grace is doing well. She has finally got accustomed to her new surroundings and she is loving it. She enjoys her bath time again, she has explored through nearly every room of the new house and is comfortable again, and she is sleeping... well the same way she used to sleep. :-) But that is all good. Mommy and I know how to handle it and Grace actually slept an entire night a few days ago.
However, concerning somethings she has become very independent. She wants to do most things on her own. She doesn't like to be carried anywhere, she doesn't like to have her food cut baby sized, and when she is done eating she likes to put her plate away herself and wash her hands. Grace is big girl now. So Mommy and I are going to let her be independent. She will be heading out into the world this evening. Eventually the bird must leave the nest. Good luck, Grace. Don't forget about us little people when you make it big. :-) No, but Mommy and I are letting her do some things on her on. So that is real exciting to see.
Recently, Grace and I have been working real hard on potty training. I have started to give her treats every time she uses the potty. It has actually made an impression on her. We still have a long way to go, but Grace is doing a great job. She actually used the potty at day care the other day. :-)
As far as Grace's health goes, she has been pretty healthy lately. At least no ear infections. The tubes are still intact. :-) However, she did just get over a little spat of pink eye and bronchitis. Something she picked up from one of her little buddies at day care. It wasn't too bad though. We got her some antibiotics and Grace was good to go. She is a trooper. For real. If it wasn't for a cough or an eye issue you wouldn't know she was not well. Even when Grace is ill her spirits our up. She just goes about her daily business. :-) We get her taken care of though.
Well, not much else is going on. Just taking it day to day and enjoying watching all of Grace's progress. She is growing up. She turned 18 months last month. A year and a half. It is wild how time flies. Mommy and I are going to turn around and she will 18 years old. I guess it is a little sad, but I'm really enjoying watching her grow and I can't wait to see what will happen next.
Grace, Mommy and I love you very much. You are our little angel. We would be lost without you. Thank you for everything. :-) Thank you to all of my readers as well. I'll try not to wait as long to update next time.

2nd Easter :-)
This weekend we went to Grandma Ruth's and Grandpa Jack's (Great-grandparents on Mommy's side) for our annual Easter celebration. We had a great time. :-)
The weather was real nice and it was good to see everyone. Most importantly Grace had lots of fun. :-)

Last year Grace was too young and small to participate in the Easter egg hunt, but this year she was just the right size. Here are some photos of all the fun for you all to enjoy. :-)
Anyway, we all really did have a lovely time. A special thanks to Grandma Ruth for all the hard work. Love you. We also were so pleased to see everyone else: Ma'tee and Papa John, Aunt Katy and Uncle Heath, all of Grace's cousins, and all the rest of the family. :-) Love you all. New Photos... FINALLY!!!!!
Sorry for the long wait on new photos. We have been pretty busy lately. Anyway, these were taken this morning, so they are definitely up to date. :-) Be sure to see how cute Grace's new dress is. It's adorable. She is our little lady bug.:-)
The pic at the top reminds me of myself. The one below that one reminds me of Mommy. :-) Grace is a great mix of Mom and I. And I have to say the pic at the bottom on the right is so cute. Isn't she just beautiful.

I have to agree with daddy about that one photo being the cutest ever, but those are the kind of photos you get with the most adorable baby ever! These pictures were taken this morning at daycare. The Easter Bunny is coming to visit her today at the Sunshine House, so she is sporting the lovely dress made by Theresa Ryan Clemens....her MA TEE!!

Home again, home again, jiggity jig :-) FINALLY :-)
Well, Grace, Mom, and I moved into our house last week. We are just loving it. It feels great. I think Grace is still getting used to the new surroundings, but for the most part she is doing fine.
Really the only thing I have noticed that is different about her is bath time. She is not really happy about bath time these days. When we were at the apartment she couldn't wait for bath time. If Mom or I mentioned bath time she would start walking to the bathroom. :-) But if you mention bath time at the new house she freaks out and not in a good way. Of course, once we get her in the tub she starts to enjoy herself. It is actually getting easier everytime. I am sure it is just adjustment period for her.
Anyway, the house looks great. Me'me' and Pe'pe' came down this last weekend and helped us unpack and get a few things we needed. Thank you very much Me'me' and Pe'pe'. We love you both very much. Oh that reminds me of something funny. Grace will say Me'me'. And when she says it she says it very sweet. Well, we hadn't heard her say Pe'pe' until this last weekend. And when she said she said it in a deep, grumbling kind of way. It was hilarious. :-) I'm laughing thinking about it. But in all seriousness, we really appreciate all the help. Thank you.
Then Mommy took off on Monday and knocked out a good deal of the left over boxes. Thanks Mommy. :-)
So with a little hard work and a little help Grace's, Mommy's and my house is starting to look like a home rather than a storage shed. The majority of the boxes are unpacked and the ones that are not are in the spare bedroom. Out of sight, out of mind. :-) No, we will get to them soon. :-)
Now we are just waiting on the blinds to be delivered and the we will still need to buy a few fans. I tell you what, Mommy and I are loving this. Everytime we do something it is like a new experience because it is in our home. Not an apartment. Taking a shower, eating at the dinner table, driving home, pulling into the driveway. It is all so nice. :-)
Oh, how could I forget. Grace's favorite part of the house is of course the stairs. If it were up to our little girl that would be where we spend all our time. :-) I let her practice going up and down occasionally, but I of course help out the whole way. Or at least stand by her as she goes up and down. Grace is getting pretty good at it. She'll be rock climbing before we know it. :-)
This weekend is supposed to be in the 80s, so I plan on taking Grace with me when I go on my run. I can't wait to try out the running trails in the neighborhood, and I really hope Grace enjoys it so we can make it something we regularly do.
Let me update you on Grace. Her speech is getting a lot better. Especially with the word "NO". :-) I know, we are working with her. I think it will just be a phase. At least I hope. :-) She is growing a bunch and she seems to be healthy. I am looking forward to the follow-up visit with the doc that put the tubes in her ear. I hope everything will be looking good.
